About Grace
I suppose I'm what some would call a 'late developer'. I didn't start taking photos until I was in my 40s after my husband, Mark, bought me a surprise DSLR camera. But from that moment I was hooked and it has been my creative outlet as well as my abiding passion ever since.
People often ask what is my 'style' and I can only answer that it's eclectic - as I hope you will see from my portfolio here. I'm drawn to all manner of images from the miniature detail of macro-photography through the wide vistas of landscape to the unusual or surreal of abstract. It's what takes my eye while I'm out with my camera and, for me, what Ansel Adams meant in the quote on my home page.

At the moment this site is for pleasure only and, whilst the volume of photos I take is huge, the output of what I'm happy with is quite low. So I hope you enjoy what you see here and revisit from time to time.
